Lindsay Medling

As a Florida native, I spent over a decade working in private practice neurology. The unique setting, the relationships I developed with patients, and the unwavering support of my neurologist inspired me to pursue a degree in nursing. I obtained my BSN and have been part of the neurocritical care milieu for five years.

Years of patient care taught me how valuable treating an entire person and understanding their lived experience is, and I chose to pursue a degree in mental health. I am a student of Duke University’s Psychiatric Mental Health program, class of May 2025. In the fall of 2025, I will continue my post-graduate studies at Duke University by obtaining a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree.I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, exercising, being outdoors, and music.
