Alyssa obtained her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2022. She went on to complete a Master of Social Work in the Joint Master of Social Work Program between North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2023. Alyssa is an associate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSWA)

Her passion is centered around working to dismantle the stigma around mental health while working hand in hand with others to meet them where they are. Her clinical work is anchored in having the ability to provide light, guidance, and a helping hand to those going through dark times.

She aspires to work toward providing mental health services in communities with minimal access and affordability. She believes that every individual is entitled to equal opportunities and rights, meaning there should be resources to aid ALL individuals, without barriers.

Alyssa also loves to complete puzzles and DIY arts and crafts.
