Know Your Costs Before You Commit to Care
Worrying about money shouldn’t be the thing that stops your teen from getting help. We verify your insurance benefits for you, explain everything in plain language, and give you a clear picture of potential costs — before you decide to move forward.
We are in- network with the following

Understand Potential Financial Responsibility Prior to Admission
What we do for you.
Insurance is complicated, especially when it comes to mental health. Prior to admission, our team speaks directly with your insurance company to verify your benefits. We then take that information and break it down for you in a way that is a little easier to understand. This includes:
- Your deductible and how much of it has been met
- Your out-of-pocket maximum and how much has been met
- Your co-insurance rate or co-pay responsibilities
With that clarity, you can decide what is best for your family with real information in hand.

Understand Insurance Coordination Once Admitted
We handle the hard part so you don’t have to.
While enrolled at Bright Path, our team will coordinate directly with the insurance company including:
- Completing any prior authorization or authorization
- Providing the insurance company with thorough documentation of what they need to see to approve care
- Continued Stay Reviews and requests for additional coverage
- Automatically appealing denials, twice.
We don’t want you to worry about insurance coverage because, frankly, we’re pros at it so no news is good news. However, if anxieties need reassurance, families can always check in with our Family Financial Coordinator. Billing adjudication with insurance can be a lengthy process, but we are committed to getting insurance to pay as much as possible before submitting a final bill to families.
What You’ll Need to Get Started
Insurance company name
Member ID and group number (from your card)
Policyholder’s name and date of birth
Teen’s name and date of birth
A good phone number and email to reach you
You can securely submit this via our online form or provide it over the phone with our admissions team
Our Financial Transparency Promise
We believe you deserve no surprises when it comes to cost
That’s why we commit to:
- Providing a Good Faith Estimate before admission
- Explaining benefits in plain language
- Reviewing all options available to you
- Offering payment plans when appropriate
- Answering your questions honestly — even if the answer is “This might not be the best financial fit.”
If your benefits aren’t what you hoped, we’ll talk through alternatives and help you explore options instead of leaving you on your own.
Common Questions About Insurance
No. Insurance verification is simply an information step. You’re not committing to treatment by
asking us to verify benefits.Yes — and you don't need to have everything figured out first.
Verifying your benefits is simply about understanding where you stand: whether Bright Path is in-network or out-of-network with your insurance, and how much of your benefits you've already used. It's a low-stakes first step, and a good one to take early.
A final cost estimate does require knowing which program your teen will enroll in — but here's the thing: that's not your call to make, and it was never supposed to be. Program placement is determined by our clinical team based on what your teen actually needs. You don't have to walk in knowing the answer. That's what we're here for.
So go ahead and verify your benefits. We'll handle the rest together.
That's okay — and it doesn't change how we show up for you.
Unlike a lot of out-of-network providers, we handle all billing and insurance advocacy on your behalf, regardless of your network status. How much you can show up for your teen shouldn't depend on insurance contracts you didn't choose. In some cases, we're also able to pursue single-case agreements for out-of-network families, and we offer no-interest payment plans.
If Bright Path genuinely isn't financially viable for your family, we'll be honest with you and point you toward other options worth exploring. We're not here to sell you a spot — we're here to help you find the right path, even if that path leads somewhere else.
No problem — our admissions process doesn't start with finances anyway (unless explicitly requested).
Our willingness to help you isn't dictated by your financial situation. We'd rather start with a real conversation about what's going on with your teen, so that if we need to point you toward alternatives, we can point you toward options that are both a better financial and clinical fit. The right next step for your family matters more than checking a box.
Grab your card when you find it. For now, just reach out.
No, we do not accept Medicaid. However, we can help point you toward community resources that may be a better financial fit.
