Outpatient Programs For Teens In Wake Forest, NC
Outpatient treatment is a form of treatment that is outside of a hospital setting. Teens stay in the comfort of their own homes. Many teens will attend outpatient treatment after they have stepped down from a residential facility, or admit directly to one of our outpatient programs. Outpatient programs can vary based on their level of intensity.
Day Treatment
Day Treatment, also referred to as Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the most intensive level of outpatient behavioral healthcare and meets throughout the entire day 5 days a week. Day treatment programs offer a structured environment with enough time to do deep work and begin the healing process.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Intensive Outpatient Program otherwise referred to as IOP involves group and individual counseling for 3 hours per day instead of 6-8 hours per day when compared to day treatment. Patients generally start in PHP and step down to IOP as they progress through treatment.
Outpatient Treatment
Outpatient treatment is a less intensive form of IOP and meets 2-3 times per week in sessions ranging from 2-3 hours.
